Just who is Mr. Clydesdale?
He is an uncle. Mr. Clydesdale is the proud uncle of 1 niece and 3 nephews. His job is to make sure that each of them is sufficiently spoiled and are raised in the only acceptable way...As CUB FANS!!! New Tee ball pics are in!
What is a
Parrothead? A Parrothead is simply a fan of Jimmy Buffett. Mr.
Clydesdale has every release of Jimmy Buffett on CD and has seen him in concert
23 times. Mr. Clydesdale first saw Jimmy Buffett at the Alpine Valley
Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin on June 28, 1997. Most recently, Mr.
Clydesdale was at Wrigley Field on September 4th and 5th of 2005 to see Jimmy's
Labor Day weekend shows and at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley
Park to see Jimmy's Party at the End of the World tour on August 5, 2006. Mr. Clydesdale has been to 115 Cubs games, witnessing the Chicago Cubs win 61 times. He remembers the 1984 team and still hates Steve Garvey. He remembers the 1989 team and still hates the San Francisco Giants. He still remembers 1998 and still hates the Atlanta Braves. He remembers 2003 and still hates Alex Gonzalez. Some highlights include witnessing Pete Rose tie Ty Cobb's career hit record at Wrigley Field, watching Ron Santo's flag raised over the Friendly Confines, a pilgrimage to Cooperstown, NY to watch Ryne Sandberg enshrined into baseball's hall of fame, watching Sammy Sosa hit his 600th homerun and then go find a restroom while several thousand people cheered a cheater, and watching Ryne Sandberg's flag raised over Wrigley Field.
